Baby Basics knows babies. We appreciate the unique aspects of each individual and understand how to use those skills to improve your infant’s current abilities.  With the help of Baby Basics, you and your baby will gain the knowledge and skills needed to build on your connection to each other and their bodies.

Our Services @ The Barn Yard

Tummy Time:  

Thursdays: 1o:00am -11:00am (specially designed value packed 1 hour class)

Saturdays: 10:00am -10:45am (designed for the busy parent and value packed 45 minute class)

3 weeks-crawling: utilizing the TummyTime!™ Method, this class focusing on learning the ins and outs of tummy time to actually enjoying it! Focus on play and engagement while learning how to encourage developmental milestones. Each week, new content will be discussed from positioning, milestones, flat head prevention, and more.

Little Movers:

Saturdays: 9:00am -9:45am

6 months-12months: this class focuses on learning how to encourage sitting, crawling, baby surfing and more!  Focus on play and engagement with other moms while learning how to encourage developmental milestones in your little mover.  Each week, new content will be discussed in movement, milestones, and more.

Dr. Kelsey Swope OTD, OTR/L, BCG

Kelsey has been a treating occupational therapist since 2013 and started Baby Basics OT when she discovered the overwhelming need for helping parents and guardians therapeutically improve babies’ movement and development.

Kelsey is mom to Henry, George, and Anna. Kelsey has first-hand experience in some of the challenges that are experienced with newborns as two of her children had tethered oral tissues.

Kelsey is passionate about helping other parents and guardians connect the dots to enjoy this truly magical time with their infants. She is certified in TummyTime! Method and looks forward to meeting you and your little ones!
